Christian Bauer (born January 11, 1977 in Forbach, Moselle) is a French chess player and author. In 1996 he won the French Chess Championship.[1]
In 2009 he came first at Vicente Bonil ahead of 21 GMs and 33 titled players.[2] In 2010, he tied for 1st–7th with Alexander Riazantsev, Vitali Golod, Nadezhda Kosintseva, Leonid Kritz, Sebastien Feller, Sebastien Maze in the 43rd Biel Chess Festival.[3]
